The event is the culmination of the Drive Electric Week (12th through 20th September 2015). During that week we'll be running a competition across Hong Kong for the EV advocates giving the most test rides, arranging the most test drives, using public and destination charging stations, making sales of EVs, and many more such EV advocacy tasks. This gathering is to celebrate that week with good food, drink, lucky draw prizes for the Drive Electric Week competition, and perhaps a surprise activity or two. Remote Control Roadster and Model S cars will be there for drivers of all ages.
The location will be the Tamarind Restaurant, 2/F., Sun Hung Kai Centre, 30 Harbour Road, Wan Chai.
Tamarind (venue previously known as Viceroy) restaurant satisfies all your senses from offering a veritable feast for your taste-buds to providing a spectacular sight from its outdoor terrace. The fabulous new Pan-Asian restaurant is located in Wanchai, facing Hong Kong's spectacular skyline. Serving the best of Thai, Indian and Vietnamese cuisine, the restaurant is perfect for lunch, dinner or drinks.
Tamarind's Thai & Vietnamese kitchen is headed by Chef Amoo. He has cooked with famous Chef Bobby Chinn from Saigon and has enhanced his skills with regional cooking tours to Vietnam and Thailand. He captures the essence of Thailand and Vietnam and recreates it in his dishes at Tamarind.
